Indiana's Democratic primary was open to all voters. About one in five said they were independents and one in 10 identified themselves as Republican. North Carolina's Democratic primary was open only to voters registered Democratic or unaffiliated; nearly one in five voters in that contest called themselves independents.

CNN reports that with less than 1% of the votes counted, Clinton leads in Indiana 64-36, in actual votes counted.

Last update unless there is a change. CNN and FOX both call Obama the winner in NC,In indiana with 20% of votes counted Clinton leads 57%-43%.

OK, the local NBC affiliate gave Obama a free campaign ad (full speech) when it aired his victory remarks in NC.
